Tropical Christmas Dinner Party

**UPDATE** I’ve been sharing weekly holiday, party, and themed idea boards, just like this inspiration board, on my new site Unique Pastiche Events. CLICK HERE to see more holiday idea and inspiration boards!

Right now, it could be anywhere from 5, 20, 50, or even 80 degrees outside right now. Red and green Christmas decorations are EVERYWHERE. And I bet someone, somewhere would like to just escape to the Caribbean for a nice little winter retreat. The idea behind this Tropical Christmas Dinner Party design board was simple. A few little tropical elements can really transport the mood
into a totally different vibe! Even if it is snowing outside during your dinner party, you and your guests could escape into a mini tropical oasis in your own home! Maybe serve a little mini pineapple glazed ham …. Or some fruit skewers for dessert! Some festive starfish decorations, and some shell embellished accents go a long way. You do not need to deck your whole house into a standard tropical luau to get this beach-y feeling. Give your guests a little fish printed goodies bag with some mango orange lip balm to face the cold outside along with a cute mini cookie.

As with all Sparkle Queen Events, I want to inspire you to make
your event extra special. While many of the items I include in my event designs
are tutorials, recipes, or handmade… use your imagination! Sometimes you can’t
make everything yourself, or you can make things that you could buy, but the
key is to find the right balance for you and your event, and strive to make it
