Hello, and to those of you who celebrate: Happy Wine
Wednesday!
Wednesday!
Today I’ve got a sparkly gradient manicure to share. This
nail art look was inspired by this Under
the Stars – Backyard Movie Party Idea Board, that I shared today on my
other blog, Unique Pastiche Events. I would LOVE to someday live in a house that has a backyard, with bonus points awarded if there weren’t mosquitoes everywhere.

Ah the life. Someday.
The manicure you see in this post was made with layers of
Zoya “Muse” on Zoya “Remy”. On top of that, I feathered on iridescent glitter
at the cuticle line and let it lighten as it got to the tip of the nail. A top
coat or two of Princess Glamour “Bloom” sealed everything in perfectly.

This sparkly effect that comes out to look like those galaxy
dust clouds you see in NASA photos. If you missed my video covering two, hand
painted galaxy skirts I created for a custom order, check it out here to see the dust I
painted on those. It looks a lot like the shimmer in these nails.

I can’t say the effect was as I expected, but I really can’t
complain about a set of beautiful, sparkly nails.
