Is it just me, or does Memorial Day weekend always signal the official start to summer? I think there’s something about the red, white, and blue trifecta that really brings the summer feeling full throttle in my mind. We kick off with Memorial Day weekend, then Fourth of July, followed by Labor Day weekend, often the end of the summer season, though not the end of the summer heat. Or maybe it’s the near triple digit weather we get to enjoy as Floridians.
Fireworks are often a highlight of summer, but with COVID, not necessarily something everyone wants to risk going to see. This recent New Years, I shared an easy, last minute hanging firework table decoration I whipped up for us to celebrate at home with. Here’s how easy it is:
If you are looking for some easy decorations for Fourth of July festivities, try hanging these firework lights up. They are easy to set up and just as easy to store. If I had a nice big porch I would love to hang them all along it for a cool effect.
Don’t forget to pin and save for future reference, you never know when you may need some in home fireworks!
