Hold it-
Don’t throw out your Halloween pumpkin just yet! I’ve got a plan!
Pumpkin Decorating Party
With 40 something days left till Christmas, it ALMOST seems like stores everywhere are skipping over Thanksgiving completely. Craft stores have already clearanced out any remaining fall supplies; every store is lining their shelves with Christmas this and that. No one is doing anything FUN for Thanksgiving!
So I thought, why not have a fun, relaxing pumpkin decorating party with the girls?! Nothing fancy, just a few friends, some finger foods (or even a pizza!) a bottle of wine, and some good music. And maybe a good craft space to catch all the glitter!
Think about it. You probably already have pumpkins on hand (or can get them ridiculously cheap if you look pretty much anywhere). I’m sure you have SOME extra craft supplies. So really, you should be good to go!
Oh, and I know you WANTED to discard that pumpkin you carved, which you might have to if you live in Florida and it is still in the 80s. But if you live anywhere else, and your pumpkin is in “good
health”, just decorate the other side! No one will see the back anyways. Be green.
I put together a list of about 30 fall pumpkin designs that you can use for your Thanksgiving table, or anywhere else that could use a little extra sparkly décor! Most of these designs have tutorials, and are pretty basic in materials and skills, so no excuses!
Oh, and while you and the girls are hanging out and you are waiting for your pumpkins to dry, you may want to try out some of these Thanksgiving nail art designs!
