Hello Again Darlings!
More DIY Christmas Ornaments as promised! This post is dedicated to my hand painted Poinsettia Christmas ornaments. I made two this year:
This one is a full acrylic free hand painting of a Poinsettia flower. It is done on a clear ornament that had been previously spray painted a metallic gold-ish color, and then painted over. It has a light finishing of a clear gloss spray paint to help preserve the paint layers.

The second hand painted Poinsettia Christmas ornament I have made so far is more of an abstract Poinsettia. I have arranged all of the flower petals around the base of the ornament, where the hook is located, as though it was the center of the flower. I took a few shots as I was painting this one because it involved quite a few layers.
