First Time Trying Zoya Nail Polish & Review!

November 14, 2011

Hello Darlings!
I wanted to share a little something I am so glad I found out recently! As many of you know, I am addicted to nail art, and my constantly trying to improve my water marbling technique. I have learned so much from blogs like My Simple Little Pleasures that have awesome tutorial videos, pictures and great reading material.
The more I learn about nail art, (mostly what not to do!), I have come to realize that a good chunk of the battle is based on the nail polish itself, not necessarily skill. SO I signed up for ZOYA email newsletters to get updates when they are having specials and discounts, because as much as I’d love to spend $8+ a bottle on nail polish, I just can’t right now. Needless to say, when they had the buy one get one free deal, I jumped on it!
One of the first colors I choose was the color “Blair” their “Pulse” collection. It is a wonderful deep, shiny rich red. Here is a picture of it from their website:

Part of the reason I was so drawn to try Zoya for the first time was their great reviews, but also HOW they make their products. Here is a little snipbit from their website:

“As the first to remove toxic ingredients such as toluene, camphor, formaldehyde and DBP (dibutyl phthalate) from its formulations, Art of Beauty maintains its focus on the health and well being of salons, spas and consumers.”

Keeping it as natural as possible, with as few toxic chemicals is fine by me! I didn’t even know that was possible with nail polish!
I know, I know, less talk MORE PICTURES!

I would stand by this product, and I can’t wait to use the next ones! This has an amazing shine to it, and it lasts! I literally left it for about a week, with no topcoat, going about my normal crafty and hectic life, and the color stayed true and kept its gloss. Plus, I feel like it was way less flaky than many of the other polishes I am used to. I am not backed by anyone, or getting donations from any companies, I just want to share my excellent findings with you!
Have you tried Zoya products before? Or have another brand you suggest?

Love,
The Sparkle Queen
